Quintessentially English The Cotswolds remain unspoilt and the traditional cottages and villages built from the famed golden Cotswold stone make the perfect backdrop. Centrally located the Cotswolds can be easily reached from central London in a couple of hours or so and are only an hour or so from the Midlands. The Cotswolds are the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in England and Wales undulating through 6 counties: Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, south Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire and Bath & northeast Somerset.
We have a really smart collection of luxury cottages to rent in the Cotswolds and they range from romantic retreats for two right through to large properties in the Cotswolds for groups. Many of the cottages in the Cotswolds featured on Handpicked Cottages have paths, tracks and bridleways practically from the doorstep.
