Alde Barn is part of Woodfarm Barns, which is an independently owned collection of Dog-Friendly, Luxury Holiday Cottages in the Heart of the Suffolk Countryside. With Hundreds of Five Star reviews on TripAdvisor, Facebook and Google, each cottage has the Quality in Tourism (VisitEngland) Gold Award. So a lot of people think we have something good on offer.
Our biggest challenge is that we are often fully booked. Would you rather try to get a table at a popular restaurant, or a half empty one?
Including Alde Barn, the collection comprises the flagship 500 year-old thatched farmhouse ‘Woodfarm House’ which sleeps 7, and six Suffolk barns each sleeping two, so perfect for a romantic break. Each cottage has a fully enclosed private garden and we have a two acre meadow over the lane, also fully enclosed, just for our guests and their dogs. We welcome up to three dogs in each cottage. Five of our barns, Including Alde Barn have Private Hot Tubs.
The front door leads into an airy farmhouse type kitchen with an antique pine dresser and farmhouse table next to the stable door. This opens up to your very big garden and leads round to your covered garden room with luxurious five person Hot Tub, even though there are only two of you!
A downstairs shower room, lounge with log burner, and a mezzanine bedroom complete your chocolate box holiday barn

Outside Description
The garden is fully enclosed and is huge. You have your own private patio with table, chairs and BBQ.
You have your own five person (even though the barn is for two!) hot tub in a covered garden room so you can really sit back and relax.

Alde Barn features an open plan sitting/ dining area/ kitchen area, with oak floorboards and underfloor heating.
Farmhouse style kitchen, huge squishy leather sofa and cosy woodburner.
Galley kitchen equipped with modern appliances including a Nespresso Coffee Machine

Handmade winding timber staircase leads up to your bedroom with high open ceiling and features a gorgeous oak sleigh double bed
