You won’t find a more romantic getaway for two than Ashwood Shepherds Hut, which comes with a king-size bed, a private bar outside and a William Holland copper bathtub. This retreat, which is located in Winchenford and offers views of the hilly Worcestershire countryside, is a perfect place for people to get away from the grind.
With its hessian-covered walls and underfloor heating, this chic hut, which is clad in oak, is meticulously designed. If you want to stay in touch with the outside world, there is WiFi available. You walk inside the kitchen, which has a mini-fridge, a double induction cooktop, a microwave, and everything else you need to prepare a tasty dinner for two. The wet room, which is accessible from the kitchen via a door, has a shower, washbasin and toilet in addition to underfloor heating. The kitchen and bedroom sections are separated by a huge L-shaped sofa, and the headboard serves as both a divider and a log burner to keep you warm in the winter or to make you feel snug any time. A William Holland free-standing copper bathtub with views of the decking and the surrounding hills sits at the base of the king-size bed. For those chilly evenings when you just want to curl up and watch a movie, there is a television. An outdoor bar with its own beverages fridge and LED lighting greets you as you go out onto the covered decking. After a soothing bubble bath, this is a great spot to sit and sip your favourite drink! A garden love seat with a direct view of the open countryside is located on the opposite side of the bar.
There will be a basket filled with delicacies from Jacks Tuck Shop in the lodging; you can choose to buy the water, chocolate, crackers, and carbonated drinks it sells.
Even though Abberley Shepherds Hut doesn’t have any fire pits or barbecues just outside, there is a special BBQ area on the property where single-use barbecue kits are for sale.
