The property is located on an unadopted lane, which is a no-through route for vehicles, therefore the only vehicles are the two neighbours. There is a very small gated area which you pass through to enter the property via the kitchen. There is also a small open paved area directly in front of the lounge, which can be accessed via the stable door. At the end of the unadopted lane is Raven beck which leads into the River Eden, here you can sit and listen to the water whilst enjoying a cup of tea.
You enter the property straight into the cosy kitchen which was converted from the original out house that belonged to the cottage. The kitchen is fitted with oak cabinets and benefits from the following integrated appliances: fridge, with freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher. In addition there is a wine cooler, electric cooker and hob, microwave and a Roberts Bluetooth DAB radio. Through an open archway you then enter into the lounge/diner. The dining area is a space for two with an oak table and comfortable dining chairs. The lounge has a leather two seater sofa and an upholstered armchair. As well as electric heating, controlled with its own thermostat, there is a log burning stove. There is a Smart TV, DVD player and Plusnet broadband.
