This is your chance to stay in a beautiful timber clad cottage in the delightful setting of a private, 30-acre estate of lawns, woods, streams and lakes.
The cottage is just ideal for a holiday or a shorter break (out of high season) and is also perfect as a romantic retreat for couples looking for extra space. The cottage has been refurbished to a very good standard and the owners have taken care to retain many of the original features, including: open fires, cast iron door furniture and exposed wood walls and floors. The two bedroom cottage is extremely comfortable and has all the mod cons and facilities you could possibly need during your stay. There is a large, open-plan, room is neatly divided between the modern, fully fitted kitchen at one end and a traditional dining room at the other. The spacious family bathroom has a bath and shower and there is also a range of Egyptian cotton towels that have been provided for your use.
Walkers and nature lovers can enjoy the ancient bluebell woodland or stroll along the banks of our three lakes or just sit and admire the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside.

The property is reached via a separate track ,sweeping past the lakes and into its own gravelled parking area. Seclusion is complete, with the nearest property 200 yards away.. Surrounding the cottage are Ancient Woodlands and lakes whilst the cottage enjoys a spacious lawned area with picnic tables, sofas and chairs. The only visitors you will see are the deer, foxes , rabbits and bird life that regularly appear.
The property is on one level providing easy access. Within is a well equipped kitchen diner with log stove and French Windows opening onto a small patio area. There are 2 bedrooms , one with King size bed ,wardrobe, and dressing table. The other bedroom has 2 single beds and wardrobe. Both are fully carpeted and the bed linen is Egyptian cotton. The cosy sitting room has 2 sofas, Smart TV with free Netflix and DVD player. Recently released DVDs are on the shelf. There is an open coal fire to compliment the oil fired central heating throughout the house. The bathroom has walk-in shower and separate bath and w.c. There is also a separate w.c and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
