Built in 1725, Brickworth Farmhouse simply oozes character and charm. With all the mod cons you could possibly expect the house offers superb facilities and luxuries. Brickworth is spacious yet has a cosy, welcoming feel and makes the perfect venue for large family get togethers, celebration weekends. Sleeping up to 14 guests in 5 bedrooms the house is also dog friendly. Although ideal for up to 14 guests, there is ample space for a travel cot in any of the rooms. A high chair is also available. A sofa-bed and/or a Z-bed can also be made available for an extra charge.
A Hot Tub is available by request, at a total extra cost of £200 for a 3-night stay. Please request price for a longer stay.

When staying at Brickworth guests can enjoy exclusive use of the Farmhouse including: The Kitchen, with original flagstone floor, marble worksurfaces and an Aga, the Scullery with large American style fridge, washing machine, butler sink, lounge with inglenook fireplace and a stunning Stovax woodburner, the Snug - with a woodburner and gaming items (XBox, PS3) the Music Room with a woodburner, the Conservatory, - a tranquil and beautiful space overlooking the walled garden. Five bedrooms and four bathrooms, also a downstairs loo. The walled garden is also for the exclusive use of guests, the paddock and orchard are also used by the owners.
Not only is Brickworth Farmhouse the ideal large house for a group or extended family celebration, it is also perfectly situated to visit all of the major attractions in the area including: Stonehenge, the New Forest and the Medieval town of Salisbury with its historic Cathedral, Peppa Pig World and Longleat Safari Park. The house is also within easy reach of the coastal towns of Bournemouth & Christchurch.
To the front of the house, there is ample parking on a large gravel drive, plenty of space for turning. To the rear, there is a large and pleasant walled garden with flower borders, apple tree, fig tree, vegetable garden, pond, lawns. There is a croquet set and a table tennis set. The garden backs onto the paddock and orchard, where the resident ducks and chickens live. There is a football goal in the paddock which is great for playing ball games or playing with your dog.
Brickworth has a wonderful, typical 'farmhouse' kitchen, with the original flagstone floors, which consequently are rather uneven. There is an Aga, which keeps the kitchen very cosy in winter. There is also a gas hob and electric ovens, and a microwave/combination oven. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine. In the scullery there is a large American style fridge/freezer with ice-maker and cold water dispenser. There is a butler sink in the scullery too. There are two lounges, the main lounge has a gorgeous Stovax log burner, and overlooks the garden. There is a flat-screen TV. In the front lounge, there is a log burner, TV and Xbox 360 and PS3 games consoles. There are plenty of DVD's available to watch too. There is a music room (sadly the piano is not for use), this is a pleasant room to sit and read, and it opens through to the conservatory. The conservatory has a very long dining table where everyone can sit together to eat, or you can sit and have a quiet coffee and read the newspaper in here too. There are some lovely large specimen plants living in here. There is a downstairs toilet. The nature and age of the house means there are steps up or down here and there. The house is warm and cosy in the winter, and cool in the summer.
First Floor Description
There are 5 bedrooms which sleep a total of 14 people. There are 4 bathrooms.
Master Bedroom: Sleeps 4 in a Kingsize Bed and 2 Single Beds. Large ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, large bath, and two basins.
Garden Room: Sleeps 2 in a Kingsize Bed. Ensuite 'Jack & Jill' style bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.
Pine Room: This is a twin-bedded room which sleeps 2. It also has access to the ensuite 'Jack & Jill' bathroom.
Green Room: Sleeps 2 in a Double Bed. Next door to a large family bathroom, with large bath and walk-in shower.
Family Room: Sleeps 4 in a Kingsize Bed and bunk beds. Ensuite shower room.
Window Views Description
The windows at the back of the house look out over the beautiful garden, paddock and beyond that trees/fields. Although the road is also there, it is well hidden by the trees.
The windows at the front of the house look out onto our front gravel drive and our neighbours' rather stylish house and garden, it is an attractive view.
