Outside Description
There’s a decked area with outdoor fire pit and barbecue, as well as a covered eating area or “sit-out-erie” – perfect for a sundowner. From the enclosed garden you can watch some spectacular Cairngorm sunrises and sunsets, as well as take in an incredible Highlands panorama. Further up the garden is another decadent treat: a luxurious 8 seater Scandinavian sauna with window so that you can take in that magnificent vista. Even the outdoor rain shower is a shower with a view! The younger members of your party will adore the treehouse, its slide and climbing wall. The very youngest – and perhaps not so young too! – will adore watching the beautiful old trains of the Strathspey Steam Railway pull in at Broomhill Station, down in the valley below the steading.
Downstairs Description
Thanks to its panoramic aspect, Broomhill Steading’s ground floor is flooded with natural light during the day. Its open plan layout makes it a brilliantly sociable place to cook, eat and relax. The kitchen table seats 8 but there’s also a handy breakfast bar with a built-in wine fridge. The kitchen is open plan to a wonderfully relaxing lounge area with another large TV and wood burning stove. At the other end of the ground floor is the third bedroom with superking bed (or twins if you prefer) and its own bath and shower room just next door. There’s a large utility room next to that for all your laundry, drying and clothes storage.
First Floor Description
The views from the first floor are particularly wonderful. Up on this level the principal suite has a kingsize bed, a large shower room and its own living area with 55’’ TV. Across the landing is the family suite with a superking bed as well as two single beds, as well as another large ensuite shower room and a walk-in wardrobe. On the landing is a study area which is ideal whether you have work, reading, revision or route planning in mind! You can access the back garden directly from the first floor… and this is where this lodge comes into a league of its own.
