Delightfully located in the Argyll village of Arrochar you will find the most quintessential of Scottish cottages. Originally built as stables for the Duke of Argyll this self catering holiday home offers guests an idyllic, cosy, and well equipped country retreat.
The cottage is just perfect for guests of all ages and works well with both families and friends or small groups looking for a place to relax as well as explore this most beautiful part of the UK.
Campbell Cottage can sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. 1 small double bed (4ft) bedroom, 3 bedrooms that can either be made as double or twin rooms. All the bedrooms look out onto the hills behind Arrochar. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath.
Well behaved pets are extremely welcome.
The area is well know as prime walking and cycling country and being located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, exceptional walking, climbing, golf, wilderness mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing, sailing and various other water sports are on the doorstep.

Outside Description
The cottage has a large garden backing on to the hills behind. Loch Lomond lies 2 miles to the East.
Situated near the shores of Loch Long, Arrochar is the gateway to the Arrochar Alps and Argyll Forest Park.
Downstairs Description
Campbell Cottage, situated in the picturesque Argyll village of Arrochar, Loch Long, is a cosy listed cottage. The cottage forms one side of The Steadings. Built in 1760, they were originally stables where the Duke Of Argyll would keep his horses for the long journeys to and from the Highlands. A spacious comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove, dining room with large table, board games, books and DVDs and well equipped kitchen comprise the main rooms of the house. A laundry / drying room guarantees that all your wet gear will be dry by morning. Doors lead out to the large garden from the kitchen, sitting room and dining room.
First Floor Description
Four bedrooms comfortably accommodate 8 people. One double bedroom. Three bedrooms can be doubles or twins, according to the make up of your group. Two bathrooms: one with bath and overhead shower, one with walk-in shower.
Window Views Description
Views over the Cobbler and the Arrochar Alps to the front. Uninterrupted views up to the hills behind the garden.
