Along with a comfortable sitting room, three bedrooms are located on the ground floor while a further bedroom occupies a mezzanine floor with private staircase. The final top floor bedroom is an impressive master suite with emperor bed, large windows with views of the course, dressing area and master bathroom complete with his & hers sinks, spa bath and built-in wall TV. On the first floor there is a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a magnificent full wall of glass overlooking the first hole. Leading from the high spec, well-appointed kitchen is a private enclosed walled balcony area. Completing this spectacular house is a beautiful landscaped garden with water feature, a private patio area leading from one of the ground floor bedrooms and parking for two cars.
Carus House is situated in Burneside, on the periphery of the Lake District National Park and just 10 minutes’ drive from the attractive market town of Kendal. Carus Green Golf Club offers the ideal escape for golf enthusiasts where guests can enjoy a 50% discount off green fees at its challenging 18-hole parkland course, as well as the on-site lounge bar and restaurant (open to non-members) which offers all day dining, a well-stocked pro shop, academy and driving range. Burneside is conveniently located just 8 miles from Windermere and 13 miles from Ambleside, making the countless delights of the Lake District, which was awarded World Heritage Status in 2017, all in easy reach.
