If you are looking to escape to a country estate and a cottage that simply oozes charm look no further than Cherry Blossom Cottage at Harewood Estate. Sleeping up to six guests in total comfort the cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sitting room, tv room and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a picturesque enclosed front garden with flower beds, lawn, picnic table and BBQ. This cottage is dog friendly.
Cherry Blossom Cottage is one of just eight delightful holiday cottages situated in the idyllic surroundings of the Harewood Estate. All the properties in our holiday cottage collection have their own unique history and atmosphere, be it former farm workers cottages or ancient hunting lodge. These Grade II Listed buildings ooze character, offering great views and access to our amazing landscapes designed by Lancelot “Capability” Brown. The Yorkshire Dales and Moors are both within easy striking distance for day trips.
Outside there is a picturesque enclosed front garden with flower beds, lawn, picnic table and BBQ. To the rear of the property there is ample parking, a couple of lockable sheds that are ideal for bike storage and access to a large communal enclosed garden.
Enter via back porch or via front door into the high-ceilinged hall, which leads to a large utility room and WC with toilet, sink, washer, dryer and plenty of drying and storage space.
The formal sitting room is accessed from the kitchen or hall and the beautiful arched, shuttered window, immediately grabs your attention and offers wonderful views to the landscape beyond. The room also features a period fireplace with wood burner, arched alcove, comfortable sofas, and retro chandelier.
The spacious TV room is accessed from the kitchen or hall and also features a wood burning stove, comfortable seating, 35 inch smart TV and various games and puzzles for you to enjoy.
The large farmhouse style kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Large solid wood dining table gives plenty of space for feeding the family. Staircase leads upstairs.
First Floor Description
All rooms upstairs are accessed off a main corridor. The envious master bedroom offers wonderful views, features a Hypnos superking double bed, and has an adjoining ensuite with bath and rain dance shower accessed via a spacious dressing room.
Second bedroom accessed at the top of the stairs has a Hypnos king size double which can also be set as a twin if preferred and views over the rear garden.
Large third bedroom at the end of the corridor with a Hypnos super king size double that can also be set as a twin on request, with views over the rear garden and estate service yard.
Newly refurbished house bathroom with bath, rain dance shower, window seat and plenty of cupboards.
Window Views Description
From the downstairs front windows you look out onto the orchard of Cherry Tree. Quite stunning in the spring when they are full of blossom and charming too when festooned with Christmas lights . From upstairs the views reach across the fields and woodland of Harewood Estate
