This is your chance to stay at this unique holiday property close to St Ives in Cornwall. Perfect for family holidays and special breaks. The property can accommodate up to 8 adults in 4 spacious bedroom, plus 2 babies/toddlers can be accommodated in cots.
As well as being extremely family friendly The Old Chapel is dog friendly as well and up to two dogs are welcome to stay at £25 per dog per stay. This part of Cornwall is a heaven for walkers with a multitude of walks available from the house along footpaths through fields, and along quiet lanes. Porthkidney Sands at Lelant is about 10-15 minutes’ drive away and allows dogs throughout the year.
The Old Chapel is located in the village of Halsetown in a tranquil, rural location that is within walking distance of the beaches and cafes of St Ives.
On the ground floor is an open plan living area, comprising a fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a dining table and a comfortable lounge area with leather sofas.
The property also benefits from a sunny garden and ample parking. During the main holiday season, a regular bus service to the centre of St Ives departs from near the property.
Guests are able to use the facilities at the nearby Polmanter touring park including a heated outdoor swimming pool (late May-mid September).

Outside Description
Outside is a sunny garden which is mostly lawn and also has a patio area with a table and seating for 8 people. There is rotary washing line and a tap/hose for rinsing off beach equipment and dogs. A charcoal BBQ and various garden toys are provided. The garden is enclosed at either end by gates but is not completely dog-proof. There is parking for two cars inside the property and a further two cars can be parked just outside (off road).
Downstairs Description
Downstairs is an open plan kitchen-dining-lounge. The kitchen area is well equipped with all the necessary pots, pans etc to cook family meals. There is an electric double oven, 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven and a slow cooker. There is a fridge freezer, dishwasher and a combined washer-dryer. A hand blender and a Nespresso coffee machine are also provided. There is a large dining table and 8 chairs, the table can be extended if necessary to provide additional seating spaces. The lounge area includes a leather corner sofa, and an additional arm chair. There is a large TV with Smart features, as well as a music system. A range of games, jigsaws and books are provided.
First Floor Description
On the first floor is the family bathroom, this includes a bath with shower over it, a WC and a wash basin. There is a large ensuite bedroom which is usually set up with a superking bed but can be arranged as twins if preferred. This room also benefits from a dressing table, bedside tables, built in wardrobe space and a TV. There is plenty of additional space for a travel cot. The ensuite shower room features a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Also on this floor is the twin bedroom which is not ensuite. It also has a dressing table, bedside tables, built in wardrobe space and a TV
Second Floor Description
On the second floor are two ensuite bedrooms. There is a large room which contains a fixed kingsize bed, this room has good views over the surrounding countryside. It also benefits from a dressing table, bedside tables, built in wardrobe space and a TV. There is plenty of additional space for a travel cot. The ensuite shower room features a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. The other room is usually set up with a superking bed but can be arranged as twins if preferred. This room has distant sea views. It also benefits from a dressing table, bedside tables, built in wardrobe space and a TV. The ensuite shower room features a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
Window Views Description
The second floor bedrooms have lovely views- one overlooks nearby farmland and moorland, the other has views over fields towards the sea. The first floor twin room and the kitchen window overlook the garden. The large first floor bedroom and the lounge overlook the village.
