This impressive house situated in a beautiful part of Dorset offers 5-star accommodation for up to 10 guests. Perfect for a family holiday, shorter break or as the venue to celebrate a special occasion or event Court Close has everything you could possibly need during your stay.
The 5 en-suite bedrooms include an easy access downstairs bedroom ideal for those less able and multi generation families. Delightfully situated in the charming village of Litton Cheney the house is fitted and furnished to 5-star standards. This is a great base from which to explore all that West Dorset has to offer if you can tear yourself away from the house and beautiful gardens and the village has a local pub within easy walking distance. Talking of walking there are a multitude of paths from the village perfect for people as well as a maximum of two well behaved dogs by special arrangement.
The house is south facing with ample parking for at least 5 cars. It is surrounded by fields to the right and bottom and is in a very pretty village situation with the church behind and a row of terraced thatched cottages behind. The extensive garden runs down to a securely fenced pond where ducks usually have a few ducklings for you to enjoy. The lawn is on two levels and the upper level is suitable for a relaxed game of croquet or Badminton. There is a swing/slide provided for children under 8 years only.
There is a small terrace to the east (accessible from the kitchen) for early morning dining, and a full length terrace along the southern side of the house overlooking the garden. While fenced we cannot guarantee the garden is totally dog proof so we ask that dogs are not left unattended outside.
The double front door enters into a welcoming spacious hallway. To the left is the kitchen/dining room and from this you can enter the back hall way (also with access from the parking area). This leads to the spacious twin/double downstairs bedroom with ensuite wetroom. There is also plenty of space in the back hall for coats and boots, and this leads to the utility room where dogs can sleep and be contained if necessary. To the right of the front hall is a lovely double aspect sitting room with an open fire place and garden views. This leads to the small cosy snug and back to the kitchen. The snug also has a door to the full length south facing terrace.
