The house has a large front garden with manicured lawn and a huge back garden, much of which is lawn for the kids and dogs to enjoy. There is also a games room separate to the house.
Enter Craigbittern through the impressive door into a large and welcoming hallway. You will find a cosy living room with fire, perfect for sneaking away and reading a book or just enjoying the surroundings. This room also has a unit packed with dvd's to enjoy. There is a large sitting room, again with fire, which is the main sitting area in the house. It is located at the front of the building and looks out onto the beach and to the Cumbrian coast beyond. This room also has a turret with a desk, perfect for some quiet contemplation. There is a large dining room which seats 13 people; again at the front of the building with views to the garden and beyond. Through the dining room you can access a small office which has a desk and lots of games for kids to enjoy. The large country style kitchen has an AGA as well as a more modern oven and hob, plenty of space for all the family to sit and everything you need to enjoy your stay. Take the stairway off the kitchen to the Den; perfect for teenagers as it is equipped with an Xbox and Playstation for them to enjoy. Through the back of the kitchen is a large utility room and the Boot Room; which has all sorts of extras you may not have thought of, such as wind breaks for the beach and picnic hampers. Past the boot room there is a door to the back of the house. There is also a small toilet just off the main hallway.
In addition to the main house, there is a two bedroomed cottage which has, on the ground floor, a living room, shower room, toilet and double bedroom. Upstairs the cottage has a kitchen, lovely sitting/dining area and a twin room.
