There are just two properties at Crumble Cottages both ideal for couples looking to escape and hideaway in a cosy romantic retreat for two. Situated in an idyllic location in Cumbria on the edge of Lake District National Park the cottages are perfect for a holiday or special break at any time of the year.
Activity breaks are very popular here such as cycling or hiking around the nearby Lake District fells or watching the local wildlife. You can also enjoy Cartmel’s superb gastropubs or treat yourself to dinner at the world-famous, Michelin starred, L’Enclume restaurant just a mile away in the village.
Outside the cottage there is a very sheltered stone bench in a tiny sunken garden which also benefits from the morning sun. Main sitting area with table, chairs and log burner is surrounded by ornamental gardens, herbs, countryside views and gets the evening sun.
Recently converted Grade 2 listed milking parlour with open plan sitting room and fully fitted kitchen with bistro dining table. Character fireplace with log stove set to light and basket of logs, exposed oak beams, shutted window, and half glazed stable door.

Window Views Description
Lovely views out over the fields and woodland and onto the ornamental gardens. Deer, hares, pheasants, badgers, hedgehogs, bats and buzzards are just some of the wildlife that we see around the property.
