Outside Description
The private walled terrace at the rear of the cottage is home to your very own Canadian hot-tub, hot and bubbling ready to slip into. By it's side is the unique red cedar barrel sauna - it truly is a space for an intimate private spa for two. Just around the side of the cottage there is a beautiful patio with a seating area, a cosy corner that catches the evening sun which is perfect for some al-fresco dining or a drink or two in the evening after relaxing and star-gazing from the hot-tub. This private gated terrace leads through to the front of the cottage with a very pretty cottage garden with fabulous views down to the quaint village of Kirk Ireton. The cottage has a private drive for parking and just a few steps across the road is the very small, but well stocked, village shop and the 17th Century Barley Mow Inn - both must be experienced.
Downstairs Description
Walking through the front door you are greeted with the superb bespoke solid wood farmhouse style kitchen fully equipped with many appliances, from the fabulous range cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher to the fresh coffee maker and the perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal or two with stunning lighting overhead. Luxury little touches await you in the fridge from a bottle of wine, homemade cake, eggs, milk, juice etc; we really hope we have thought of everything to get your holiday off to a good start. Off the kitchen is the beautiful cosy oak beamed sitting room boasting a soft leather sofa, wood burner, large flat screen TV, soft lighting and solid oak flooring, a perfect place to sit back and unwind with a good book or a drink in hand. Towards the staircase you will find a perfect snug area with snuggle seat with views down to the village beyond.
First Floor Description
The beautiful handmade oak staircase leads up to a dressing area and through to the gorgeous romantic bedroom where the elegant super king size four poster bed takes centre stage. Boasting exquisite lighting and luxurious furnishings, it is an amazing space to relax and unwind. The en-suite is breathtaking, from the large separate shower to the double freestanding bath with views from the floor length window down to the village and over to the rolling countryside.
Window Views Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is situated at the top of the quaint peaceful village of Kirk Ireton and boasts views down the main street and over to the hills and countryside beyond. The windows to the front of the cottage are perfect to curl up with a good book and admire the pretty cottage garden and the beautiful village views. The rear windows overlook the private patio and open farmland, beautiful and peaceful to completely switch off and relax.
