Forest Cottage is an enchanting little red-roofed cottage sitting amongst the stunning pine forest on the shore of Loch an Eilein on the Rothiemurchus Estate. You can walk around the loch from the front door and enjoy the peace and tranquility as well as the spectacular views of the loch, its island with a ruined medieval castle, and the mountains rising up behind the forest on the far shore. There are only two cottages on entire perimeter of the loch, the other being its sister property Loch an Eilein Cottage. Forest Cottage lies along a private forest track, closed to public vehicles.
The cottage has been lovingly renovated and interior designed by a very experienced and talented team. This is a delightful and deceptively luxurious cottage with unlimited attention to detail to ensure you won’t want for anything during your stay. There is a gorgeous little twin bedroom upstairs designed for children.
