Foxglove Cottage is one of six delightful cottages at Standlow Farm in the picturesque Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and just 4 miles from Ashbourne.
Foxglove Cottage is a large, stylish cottage, sleeping 8-10 guests. It is beautifully furnished and perfect for a family holiday or celebration, with a private hot tub in the garden.
Foxglove Cottage has four double bedrooms, three of which can be either double or twin rooms. A family bathroom with shower over-bath and stylish shower room complete the first floor.
The large ground floor is perfect for family celebrations and group get-togethers. The kitchen/lounge/dining room is both stylish and contemporary, and offers comfortable living. There is a sofa-bed for groups of 9 or 10 guests.
The terraced area provides a BBQ and garden furniture, with a gated exit onto the country lane.
At the rear of the cottages there is a shared garden, two fire pits, and a children's play area. Guests can also make use of the entertaining games room at Standlow, fit with two full-size snooker tables, air hockey, table tennis and table football.
Dogs are welcome, for an extra charge of £20 per pooch.
For larger groups, multiple cottages can be booked at Standlow, to accommodate groups of up to 45.
Catering, pampering and outdoor activities can be added onto your reservation with us if pre-booked before your stay.
At the front of Foxglove Cottage is a patio with garden furniture and a BBQ. Behind the cottage is the private hot tub, and the shared garden at Standlow.
As guests of Standlow Farm, you can enjoy the two fire pits and large games barn. There is a children's play frame for the younger ones, and a paddock with football goals.
There is a car park that is exclusively for Standlow guests, next to which you can find the laundry room.
Upon entering Foxglove Cottage you come into the light and airy open-plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering, and there is a dining table for 10 people. The lounge area has a TV and 3 sofas, one of which is a double sofa-bed that can be used if there are 9 or 10 guests staying.
There is one downstairs bedroom, which can be arranged as either a double bed or twin singles.
First Floor Description
Upstairs you'll find one double bedroom, and a further two bedrooms that can be made up as either double or twin rooms. There is one bathroom and one shower room.
From the upstairs you can access the private hot tub in the garden.
Window Views Description
The front of the house looks out over the stunning Kniveton Valley, while the back looks into the gardens and fields beyond.
