If you are looking to escape to Northumberland for a holiday or special break then Shepherds Retreat at Carraw may well be the perfect choice. The property, situated on the foundations of Hadrian’s Wall and set in wonderful open countryside provides a welcoming, warm and friendly place to stay. The traditional stone built property is attached to the 18th Century Farmhouse and was originally an outbuilding. Today the cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and while, retaining a lot of the original features has a contemporary feel and facilities.
There are two well sized double bedded bedrooms, which incorporate some of the original features, such as roof beams and stone walls. Each bedroom has ensuite shower facilities.
The lounge / dining area is light and airy. The kitchen is fully equipped with an upright fridge / freezer, electric double oven, washing machine, dishwasher and a microwave.
