Kelper's Barn is one of just three delightful holiday properties at Whistley Farm. The accommodation comprises of the barn and two beautiful hand built Scandinavian lodges standing in their own enclosed gardens, adjoining grounds with a four hole pitch and put golf course, overlooking their own lakes, which are available for coarse fishing exclusively for guests.
Whistley farm is available all year round for a weekend break or a touring holiday. The accommodation is ideally situated to enjoy everything Dorset has to offer and is particularly suitable for walkers, cyclists and of course anglers. There is so much to see and do in this part of Dorset, with countless picturesque villages, the market towns of Shaftesbury, Sherbourne and Bruton and the historic cities of Salisbury and Bath.
Kelpers Barn has a large enclosed garden with patio table and chairs /and recliners. There is parking for two cars outside the property. Guests staying in Kelpers Barn have access to the fishing lakes and four hole pitch and putt golf course. There is also plenty of lovely farm walks direct from the doorstep (maps provided).
Downstairs there is a large entrance hall, which has plenty of room for hanging coats etc.; there is a shower room, with a large shower WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
The kitchen is fully equipped and very spacious; it has a washer dryer, dishwasher fridge freezer oven/hob and microwave. There is a round table with seating for four, there are large patio doors leading out on to the garden, which give you wonderful views, as does the lounge which has a wood burner, underfloor heating, and a large smart tv. First Floor Description
Kelpers Barn has two bedrooms, one master bedroom with a king-size bed and TV, with an En-suite bathroom with a bath which has a hand held shower mixer, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has two full sized single beds (which can be pushed together on request) a TV and an En-suite WC and wash basin.
Window Views Description
The views from Kelpers windows are breathtaking . With the large French doors from both the lounge and kitchen , you can watch the rolling hills in the distance , with the ever changing sky in all its beauty whether its watching the storm clouds or on clear sunny days enjoying the far reaching views of the downs . In the spring you can watch the new born calves in the paddock , from the upstairs windows you can see the lakes and grounds.
