The kitchen is fully equipped should you want to dine in or maybe you will prefer to dine out at the very nearby, excellent pub.

Knocktinkle is one of just three boutique cottages at Gatehouses of Fleet which has been lovingly restored over the past 5 years to create a truly special place for people to visit and explore this this beautiful area. A place where our visitors can find a luxurious home from home in which to unwind and relax.
Willow, Knocktinkle and Granary make up our historic collection of self-catering cottages, lovingly created within this listed Georgian, former schoolhouse built sometime in the 1790’s. The cottages are ideally positioned for access to beaches, hills, shops and outdoor activities.
Outside Knocktinkle is a private courtyard which may be fenced in (on request) if you want to keep your dog contained. The area is south facing and is a delight in the evening. walking through the garden area past Willow and Granary cottages is the gate which leads to the park and woods.
At the front there is private parking for up to 8 cars. Please note, we allow our neighbours to park two cars at the far end of Knocktinkle but there is still plenty of room right outside the cottage
Through the front door is a spacious hallway with the downstairs shower room to one side. Through the door and you enter the open plan living/dining area with log burner and contemporary styling - 2 large sash and casement windows are your picture frames onto Ann Street. The kitchen is through a small opening which is fully equipped with quality appliances, pots, pans, and crockery. The welsh dresser in the living room holds everything you could need to rustle up a scrumptious meal. The back door leads to the private courtyard - a south facing sun trap, gorgeous on a sunny evening for alfresco eating or just a glass of wine
First Floor Description
Up the stairs you will find the bathroom with it's super-deep freestanding bath - loads of towels, a heated towel radiator , toilet and sink. Lovely toiletries too
The first bedroom is large, has a window onto the front and has a lovely fireplace at the side of the double bed. Two large fitted cupboards give you shelves and hanging space plus house the iron, ironing board and safe. A small dressing table contains a hairdryer and cosmetic mirror although there is a full length mirror on one wall
The second bedroom is also on the front of the property and has a super comfortable king-sized bed, a large wardrobe and an easy chair and a full length mirror.
