A walker’s haven Lumley cottage is delightfully situated in a village location in Yorkshire. Ideal for a romantic break for two or a small family the cottage can accommodate up to three guests in two bedrooms and is cosy yet spacious.
The cottage is available for holidays and special breaks at any time of the year and is furnished to a good standard. There is a comfortable sitting room which is ideal for sitting by the log burning stove and planning tomorrows adventures. Cook up a storm in the well equipped kitchen diner relax in the private courtyard garden with a glass of something chilled.
The village of Thornton-le-Dale offers a good range of amenities with eating establishments and independent shops and the larger market town of Pickering is only three miles away.

You have a part-walled courtyard garden out the back with wrought-iron furniture, a bird bath and a feeder; watch the birds as you sit in the sun and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple.
Downstairs Description
A warm red sitting room with a wood-burner, a leather chair and a sofa, Sky package for cosy nights in, and an excellent working kitchen, hub of the house, with a big black fridge and an eight-burner hob and dishwasher. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with washing machine and tumble dryer, a real home from home. Note the young owners leave you a bottle of wine to enjoy – the best way to ease yourself into a holiday!
First Floor Description
Up the stairs are two bedrooms with soft colours and new pine (the single bed is comfortably big). There are TV's in both rooms with sky available in the master. A spacious blue and white bathroom fresh and new with bath, shower cubicle, wash basin and WC and quality towels.
