Outside Description
To the rear of the property is a glass fronted terrace with stunning views of a secret beach cove and also far reaching views up the coast-line to Snowdonia. The rear enjoys a cute fitted seat and also a luxury fitted kitchen with BBQ, Pizza Oven, sink and work-space. You can enjoy al-fresco dining or just enjoying wildlife spotting from your own private space - how amazing to watch dolphins, seals and bird-life from your very own terrace.
To the front of the property is a contained, walled terrace area which is a sun trap so you can relax and enjoy watching what is happening on the beach below. For dogs there is the village green immediately in front of the property with direct access down to the beach. The front terrace even has an outdoor hot shower to wash off the sea and sand!
Downstairs Description
Open plan luxury bespoke kitchen with large island, premium surfaces & equipment but what makes this kitchen and dining area world-class are the front-line sea views from both sides - the front looks out across Aberporth beach and the rear looks up the dramatic coastline to Snowdonia.
Sliding doors open onto the rear terrace where you can sit and enjoy the stunning view or use the outdoor fitted kitchen with BBQ, Pizza Oven and sink and glass doors also open to the front terrace of the house where you can enjoy the sun and fabulous views. Dolphins and seals are frequently spotted playing in the cove at the rear of the properties and handy binoculars are available to watch the stunning wildlife all around you.
Just off the kitchen is a large utility area with fitted washer/dryer and access to a downstairs cloakroom with toilet facilities. The kitchen leads into a beautiful lounge with large comfy designer sofas, large screen TV and two way open wood-burner so you can enjoy the fire from both the kitchen and lounge - perfect for winter days and creating a cosy and social space for the whole family. The lounge also contains a surprise - hidden behind the bookshelf is a secret door to a magical playroom filled with toys, games and another wall mounted TV so the children can also have their own special space.
The cottage has been carefully designed throughout with luxury furnishings, local art work and a nautical feel fitting to its unique headland location surrounded by the ocean. Outside to front and back are terraces where you can enjoy the sun and spectacular views and their is even a hot water outdoor shower for when you come straight from a swim on the beach in front of the property.
First Floor Description
The hallway complete with port-hole, continues the nautical theme and the walls both upstairs and downstairs are adorned with pictures from top local artists sourced from the art gallery also managed by the owners of Headland Cottage. Upstairs there are three bedrooms all decorated with designer wallpapers, fabrics and antique furniture.
The Seahorse room contains a king size bed and has an adorable window seat to enjoy the beach views. The Sea Shell room has two grand single beds suitable for either adults or children, and again a wonderful window seat to enjoy Aberporth beach. The Captain's Suite has the extra wow factor of sea views both to the beach and to the rear from the luxury ensuite. The Captain's Suite has a super-king bed and a newly fitted bathroom with Fired Earth tiling and a large walk-in rain shower. Upstairs there is also a family bathroom where you can enjoy a sea-view whilst luxuriating in a fabulous bath and shower.
Every main window in the property has a front-line sea view and each room has been carefully designed for both beauty and comfort.
Window Views Description
Wow! each window frames either the picturesque sandy beach or the dramatic cliffs and coastline up to Snowdonia. The property retains a cottage feel but has modern design touches such as panel glass windows to maximise the incredible views. There are not many properties in the world that can boast views as stunning as Headland Cottage and where you are able to watch the resident population of bottle-nose dolphins while eating dinner!
