Outside Description
Outside the back door is a full-length terrace with tables and chairs and a fire bowl. Also a barrel sauna for 6. The garden is fully fenced so good for children and dogs, and within it is a brick BBQ. Mounts View is slightly isolated and very peaceful, and there are lovely views over the unspoilt organic farmland and Wealden wooded landscape. Still it is very near the Tennis court, play area dn Swimming Pool.
Downstairs Description
Mounts View has a front and rear entrance. The front entrance is through the kitchen into a lobby area in which there is an overflow dining area often used by children. The kitchen itself faces south and west and is very airy. It is fully equipped and has a small breakfast seating area. From the lobby a passage leads to the 5 bedrooms, the bathroom and the main shower room. The 2 bedrooms at the end of the corridor are double bedrooms, each with a Zip&Lock double bed, cupboards, and windows on 2 sides. Next is an alcove with a day-bed, followed by a 3-person bedroom (single bed and bunk-bed). Opposite is the wet-room shower room, with wide-doorway and walk-in shower + WC. Next are two comfortable twin bedrooms (one with a moveable Z-bed, and opposite that is the bathroom with WC and basin. Off the main lobby is a further small shower-room and WC. Beyond the lobby is the large airy TV/sitting room with windows on 3 sides, comfortable sofas and armchairs and a wood-burner stove. At the far end of this is the dining alcove for up to 12 people, with a hatchway through to the kitchen for easy serving of food.
Window Views Description
On the entrance side views west towards the South Downs. On the terrace side over the peaceful landscape of the Weald, unchanged for hundreds of years.
