Outside Description
Heather Cottage is set in a pretty, open and sunny, cottage garden and commands excellent views of the tiny unspoilt village of Kirk Ireton, and over to the hills beyond. The cottage has private parking of course, although the bus stop, quirky, rural (and not very frequent! ) is close by for those who like to explore in the old fashioned way. The french windows in the living room lead directly onto the private terrace at the rear of the cottage with its stone built barbeque and eclectic garden furniture. From here, step down to the sunken patio where the hot tub is waiting - hot, bubbling .... and so very inviting! Here too is The Den - a warm and cosy cabin, with magazines, games and plenty of space to relax. 20 yards down the hill is the tiny, but very well stocked, village shop and the 17th Century Barley Mow Inn - both are must visits during your stay.
