Nyth Y Wennol (Swallow's Nest) is a gorgeous romantic getaway for couples looking to take a break together on the stunning Isle of Anglesey. This delightful one-bedroomed holiday cottage can sleep just 2 guests and is full of character with its open oak beams, exposed stone and underfloor heating, the beautiful cottage is a cosy, romantic bolthole. The cottage is one of just two delightful cottages at Bytheicws Holiday Cottages.
Swallow's Nest comprises of:
• Lounge with a sofa, 32" TV with Amazon Fire Stick, dining table and chairs.
• Kitchen featuring a stunning M&S larder, washing machine, electric clothes airer, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer.
• Upstairs is a delectable bedroom with a beautiful double bed with Welsh blanket, wardrobe space and chest of drawers.
• The bathroom is dazzling with a roll top bath, spacious shower cubicle and a sink inset in marble.

There is a quaint patio area outside the kitchen, with a cast iron bistro set. A barbecue and fire pit are also available. A boot box provides storage for walking boots etc and a clothes airer is set on a small lawn for your convenience. The patio is lovely place to sit and watch the sheep graze and the sun go down over distant fields.
The well equipped kitchen boasts a spacious fridge-freezer and a beautiful M&S larder that will keep all your food tidy and fresh for the duration of your stay. There is a microwave, a toaster, an electric oven and hob. Kitchen drawers house all the utensils you will need to whip up a tempting meal. All our windows and doors are handmade from sapele by a local craftsman.
The lounge, has a sofa and a small rustic dining table. The exposed stone and oak beams create a gorgeous, cosy and relaxing feel to the room. There is a standard lamp and two small lamps providing subtle romantic lighting if you prefer it. The coffee table, is one of many quirky touches., an antique chest to which we have added a glass top. there are games and books available in the dresser that also houses wine, gin and beer glasses. Eco-friendly cleaning materials and recycling bins are provided.
The bathroom, formerly a dairy, features a roll top bath and a powerful modern shower. There are colourful pieces of art which complement the brilliant whit decor. An original heavy oak beam adds tremendous character and an antique apple tree ladder has been upcycled as an elegant towel rack. an antique wash stand
Downstairs benefits from underfloor heating throughout, powered by an air sourced heat pump.
First Floor Description
The bedroom which is reached via an open wooden staircase features a King size , Victorian style bed, beautifully dressed in high quality cotton. Various pierces of antique furniture and large oak beams. create a unique, cosy and stylish bedroom.
Window Views Description
Windows from the kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom look out over the farmyard and paddock. The best views from Nyth y Wennol are from the kitchen door and the patio just outside, which stretch over fields and provide a quite stunning sunset
