Lodge Cottage is a quite beautiful self catering holiday cottage and although now fitted with all mod cons has retained all of its character with some parts of the property 300 years old. Lodge Cottage is ideal for a small family or two couples wishing to share.
The cottage sleeps four people. There is a double bedroom with a four-poster bed and an en-suite shower and WC. There is also a twin bedded room (the beds can zip together) and a large family bathroom. The open plan ground floor has a wonderful oak floor. There is an open fireplace, large sofas to sink into, and French windows leading to the delightful garden.
The fully fitted kitchen with oak floor, has the usual dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. There is a table and chairs for breakfasting in the adjacent south-facing conservatory. The sitting area has a new sofa and chairs for comfort arranged by the log fire and the flat-screen TV with freesat and free wi-fi.
The dining area has seating for seven, so you can have friends to call. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate are in the property. A high-sided cot can be provided on request if you have small children.
The property has its own walled, south-facing garden with a terrace leading off the sitting area and conservatory.
As a guest at Lodge Cottage you can enjoy all the facilities that Kingham Cottages offer including: indoor heated pool, relax in the Hammam (traditional Turkish steam bath), tennis court or simply stroll around the beautiful five acre gardens.
The award winning village has the choice of two excellent pubs offering excellent food within walking distance of Kingham Cottages. There are wonderful walks for ramblers, stunning countryside for cyclists.
Subject to availability we can accommodate larger family groups up to 26 people across our five cottages, set within the grounds of Kingham Lodge. Do ask about availability for multiple cottages for your family event.
