The Old Farmhouse was once the heart of the farm, dating back to 1750. With its original fireplace still intact, this cottage is a warm cosy space for a family of four or two couples wanting to relax after a day’s walking, cycling or sightseeing. The cottage has two en-suite shower rooms and while one room has twin beds, the other can be set up as a super king or twin bed room also.
There are extensive views from each bedroom of The Old Farmhouse In particular, the double room has wonderful views of Magpie mine. Guests may alsoi be treated to some of our wonderful sunsets, which can be particularly stunning in the winter months.
Guests can enjoy superb facilities including: A games room with table tennis & pool table, Superfast wifi, a fire pit in the woods, BBQs are available in each cottage from Easter to October, secure cycle storage and maintenance tools, laundry facilities, and a drying room for wet walking gear and muddy boots.
