The perfect self catering accommodation for those looking to escape to Snowdonia for a peaceful holiday or special break in this beautiful part of Wales. Situated Located within its own enclosed grounds on the lower slopes of Cadair Idris and just 1.5 mile from the market town of Dolgellau.
Penclogwynau can accommodate up to 4 guests and is well suited for families or friends. Open plan kitchen, living and dining area with beautifully exposed rafters and beams and underfloor heating throughout. There are two bedrooms, underfloor heating, a welcoming log burning stove, deep slipper bath and many of the original features dating back to the 18th century. Dog friendly the cottage is surrounded by fields, woodlands and mountains and is a walker’s heaven. Dine al fresco as there is an 8 seater round picnic table, a separate 'bistro' style table with 2 metal chairs, an Indian firepit and grill, and a charcoal BBQ facility.
