Cotswold holiday cottage with indoor swimming pool and other superb facilities
This stylish holiday cottage is perfectly located in the beautiful village of Kingham set in the wonderful countryside between Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford.
The cottage is perfect for families and friends and can sleeps up to six guests with en-suite, two twin bedrooms (one of which is en-suite) and a family bathroom.
The open plan ground floor feels both luxurious and spacious with furnishings and fittings of the highest standards. There is a flagstone floor and an open fire place as well as an Aga.
There is a fully fitted oak kitchen with French doors to the BBQ terrace with table and chairs.
Ryeworth Cottage also has a multi-purpose basement with large flat screen TV and comfy sofas for all the family to relax and enjoy a film. FreeSat TV and wi-fi broadband connection.
As a guest at Ryeworth you can enjoy all the facilities that Kingham Cottages offers including: indoor heated pool, relax in the Hammam (traditional Turkish steam bath), tennis court or simply stroll around the beautiful five acre gardens.
The award winning village has the choice of two excellent pubs and a hotel all three offer excellent food within walking distance of Kingham Cottages. There are wonderful walks for ramblers, stunning countryside for cyclists.
There is a terrace outside the kitchen with table and chairs and a BBQ is available nearby along with some outdoor games. The terrace opens onto a lawn shred with neighbouring Kite's Gate. A few steps away is the entrance to the 5 acre gardens of Kingham Lodge which includes a tennis court and just next door is the indoor heated pool with Hammam.
There is a wendy house facing Ryeworth.
Ryeworth has a particularly spacious ground floor because it is designed to host groups that take multiple cottages. There is everything you could want for large scale entertaining including cutlery, crockery and glass for 18, large pans and multiple serving dishes as well as an extending dining table and additional dining chairs. Our kitchens are famously well-appointed. Large groups often have caterers for one special meal and this kitchen is well known to local chefs.
However, if it is just 6 of you all of this is neatly packed away into the fitted kitchen and you will be as comfortable as 6 as you would be at 18.
There is a double oven and separate microwave. The 4 door Aga can be turned on by request in advance of your stay. Because the cottage is fitted with underfloor heating and thermostats in every room we do not routinely leave the Aga on.
The practical flooring is flags throughout with a mix of custom made soft furnishings and antique furniture and decorations. This makes for a relaxed yet sophisticated look of rural charm. There is a TV with free-sat and DVD player.
The ground floor also has a separate laundry, loo and access to the basement. The basement contains it's own kitchenette should a teenage contingent want to be independent from the adult party. There is a large wall mounted flat screen TV with DVD player, comfy sofas and bean bags. For younger guests there are board games, a dolls house and dressing up box.
