Stunning sea views and total seclusion Seacombe is a luxury bolthole for family and friends to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Sleeping 7 the accommodation is luxurious and the facilities are state of the art. The attention to detail is clear for all to see. Delightful and spacious ensuite bedrooms, oak floors, ground source underfloor heating, air purification system, wifi throughout, filtered water, a bespoke kitchen and a state-of-the-art cinema are just a few of the numerous highlights.
Cleverly, the home has been set in to the hillside from the main entrance an oak staircase leads you downstairs to a spacious living area and large private stone walled garden. There are panoramic views from nearly every window and there are three balconies from which to take in the breath-taking coastal vista. There is a large outside patio area and plenty of sheltered spots for taking in the sunshine. A BBQ is available as is a large field for fun and games. Seacombe is a very special place and is the perfect accommodation for your next visit to Salcombe, South Devon and beyond.
There is a pretty stone-walled garden with a barbecue, an outside table and chairs, external speakers and sunloungers. Beyond this, Seacombe has 1.5 acres - a grassy field for games (croquet set, boules etc. provided). We have a private right of way through fields to the beach and coastal footpath. There is plenty of parking space.
Seacombe's kitchen is very well-equipped. with everything you will need from a filter coffee machine to a pop-corn maker. It has an induction hob, full-size oven and a wide 2 drawer fridge . There is also a large pantry with a freezer. Outside there is a kitchen garden which grows salad and herbs. The kitchen table can seat the whole family.The double glass doors open to the patio, garden and barbecue. Under the stairs, there is a sound system for radio, cds or ipods which plays selectively around the house and outside. There is wifi and a landline. The Living room has large sofas and an Eames chair. There is a tv and dvd player and shelves of board games.. There is another large table and chairs for dining or games.. Beond this room, the cinema is accessed through a bookcase door. This works with a large screen and projector with dvds etc. As well as comfortable seating, there is a double mattress which can accommodate a further two guests (+£45 each) There is also a downstairs toilet and cloakroom.
First Floor Description
There are two double ensuite bedrooms with balconies and a third bedroom which can be set up as a twin, double or triple. (See above for mattress in cinema room for extra guests.) There is a third family bathroom. We have a cot and highchair for small guests - although be aware that the stairs are not suitable for a guard. There is a sitting area with wonderful views of Deckler's Cliff and the sea as well as access to a large balcony from which stairs lead down to the garden.
Window Views Description
Seacombe's orientation is to the south with wonderful, panaramic views of the sea - Deckler's cliff to the East and the Salcombe estuary to the West. It is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and surrounded by NT land.
