On approach you will find Dunnock House set back from the footpath, access via a private footbridge. The house is set in a traffic free location with the small car park situated a stones throw away, with a dedicated car parking space. To the back of the house there are large sliding doors which open on to the decking area where you will find an outdoor table and chairs and BBQ. This overlooks the quiet lake and is separated only by lawn and reeds.
The tennis courts, spa, pools and Ballihoo restaurant are all within a 5 minute walk from the property and due to strict speed limits is a very safe walk/scoot/cycle for children too.
The on-site ActivityHub is able to deliver bikes, paddle boards and kayaks to your house. Booking is essential.
Downstairs Description
The large open-plan living space at Dunnock House is perfect for adults and children alike, comprising of separate areas for dining, living and relaxing. The comfortable living area boasts a log burner, TV, 2 sofas and a desk area for your use, which then leads on to the relaxing seating area, perfect for reading your favourite book, a separate area for the children, or for a spot of birdwatching. The dining area seats up to 10 very comfortably with plenty of space, and also looks over the lake. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of appliances and cooking/baking equipment.
There is a separate downstairs loo and cloakroom, and under stairs cupboard where you will find a hoover, heated drying rack and ironing board etc.
First Floor Description
The first floor consists of the master bedroom, 1 double bedroom, the twin room and the family bathroom. The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the lake where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
Second Floor Description
The second floor is entirely dedicated to the 2nd double bedroom and adjoining en-suite.
Window Views Description
Due to Dunnock House being situated in a traffic free zone, this creates a very peaceful and quiet space to enjoy your holiday.
