During Covid Restrictions
A luxury holiday escape, sleeping 10 although due to Covid restrictions this will now be 6 max (can be rented with the adjacent property making a maximum of 12) near Bideford in North Devon. The house has a fabulous range of facilities and is ideal both for action packed holidays, for relaxing breaks or as a luxury venue to celebrate special occasions with extended family or friends.

It has 5 spacious bedrooms, two en-suite, sleeping 10 (+ 2 on mattresses by arrangement with the owner) and with travel cots if needed. It boasts a large, sociable kitchen, conservatory/dining room, lounge with wood burner, a second ‘snug’ lounge and games room with full size pool table, games/jigsaw table and a keyboard.

An enclosed garden area at the back of the property hosts a private hot tub, perfect for watching the sun go down or for star gazing; a large gas barbecue and large patio with a comfortable seating area. Beyond the garden, fields, woods and countryside stretch down to the cliffs and the sea. To the right, you will find the shared outdoor swimming pool, (secured with a high gate and a safety cover on the pool) sun loungers, tennis court and table tennis. (shared with the neighbouring property) There is plenty of off-road parking at the front and garage space to put a car under-cover or to store bikes and surfboards
The living space of this property is exceptionally generous with plenty of room for the whole party to spread out and do their own thing or to get together and be sociable! A large kitchen with separate utility and larder also boasts two ovens, two sinks, two fridges, lots of work space, a large island with stools and a coffee table with comfy sofa. This probably makes the kitchen the heart of the house and makes it a comfortable and convivial place to enjoy cooking up a feast, preparing a barbecue or just feeding and watering the troops without a fuss. The conservatory boasts fabulous views and doubles up as a dining room. There are two lounges, the main room with a cosy wood-burner for cooler evenings or winter breaks, the smaller snug perfect to escape for some quiet time or for the children to make their base. A small WC off the hallway is practical for a large group or an extended family. Finally, in the centre of the house is a huge games room with full size pool table, a games/jigsaw table and a keyboard. You will find that there is plenty to keep everyone entertained whatever the season or the weather outside.
First Floor Description
Five bedrooms sleep 10 comfortably (two in bunk beds) but an additional 2 children's beds can be made up in one of the bedrooms to make a family room or a "children's dormitory" sleeping 4. There are three bathrooms upstairs, all with showers and WC, two also have baths. There is unlimited hot water and underfloor heating throughout the house keeping it warm and cosy throughout the year.
