East Cottage, standing at the end of the cottage lane at Hendersyde, makes the perfect base for your next warm, welcoming, Scottish adventure. The cottage oozes character and charm and can sleep up to 4 guests in a twin & double bedroom. Cosy at any time of the year with an open fire and central heating, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room. The enclosed garden wraps round the front and side of the cottage with a secluded spot for out door dining. Enjoy walks over the farm, by the waterside, and into Kelso.

Outside Description
You can reach East Cottage front garden through the lobby door and wander round to the lawn on the east side of the car parking area next to the cottage.
Downstairs Description
We don't consider our cottages luxurious, as they are traditional farm cottages, but for over 30 years we have tended and cared for them, offering Visit Scotland Four Star standard quality and comfort. The porch door leads into the well equipped kitchen, with as much cooking equipment as space will allow, no dishwasher, but there is a washing machine! The cosy sitting room with open fire and a comfy suite, downstairs bath room with shower over the bath and garden door lead off the lobby. There are lots of photos on our website.
First Floor Description
Upstairs there are two bed rooms, a double with a king-size bed, and spacious twin room, with windows north and south. The original floorboards and fireplace add character and charm to the cottage.
Window Views Description
In an elevated position, southerly views stretch over the farm and The Tweed Valley to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland National Park. To the north you can see the Lammermuir Hills in the distance and Hume Castle on the near horizon.
