Perfect for holidays and special break at any time of year The Annex is everything you could wish for in a holiday cottage. Located on the North Devon coast, near Bideford.
If you are looking for superb facilities and a delightful location then this luxury five-star cottage ticks all of the boxes. Two large en-suite bedrooms (sleeps 4-6), with private hot tub, swimming pool and tennis court. Recently refurbished and quite charming, The Annex is the end of a traditional Devon longhouse with thick stone walls, slate roof and a rose growing over the doorway. This property is one of two units run by the owners and shares the pool and tennis court with neighbouring "Southclay". The Annex can be booked independently from Southclay as a stand alone unit with completely separate access, facilities and own hot tub... perfect for a family or even for a couple for a romantic getaway; or can be booked in conjunction with Southclay to increase the total number of guests accommodated to 16.
• Sleeps 4-6 in two large bedrooms
• Five star traditional, stone cottage
• Private Hot Tub
• Off road parking
• Outdoor pool and tennis court
We do not normally allow dogs in this property as there is no secure garden space to let them out to play. There is lots of space to walk dogs nearby however; off-road parking at the front and a fabulous patio area at the back. The patio boasts a private hot tub and large gas barbecue, leading onto the swimming pool (heated Easter - October), sun deck, tennis court, table tennis and beyond to fields and woodland down to the rocky shore.
A comfortable, double aspect lounge with patio doors out to the barbecue, outdoor dining area, hot tub and pool means the light floods in and the patio becomes part of the living space in the summer months. In the winter or on cooler evenings snuggle up to the wood-burner fire and enjoy the cosy atmosphere with ample space for 6 guests to play games or watch a movie but not so big that a couple on a romantic break don't feel snug. The kitchen/diner is well equipped and also double aspect with doors opening out to the patio area. There is a ground floor bedroom with super king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds if preferred and a beautiful downstairs bathroom/wet-room with underfloor heating and large bath.
First Floor Description
There is a further bedroom and bathroom upstairs. This large bedroom can sleep up to four with a king-size bed and two singles. There is a wonderful view from the window seat in this bedroom overlooking the pool and tennis court and across the cliffs to the sea.
