The Award Winning (Visit England) Barn at Beechcroft simply oozes character and charm and has been converted to a very high standard. The owners have cleverly managed to achieve the perfect mixture of comfort and character with exposed beams, oak flooring and doors, an oak winder staircase with many mod cons such as under floor heating and variable lighting.
The accommodation sleeps a maximum six guests and is ideal for families and friends as a holiday property of for those looking to take a truly relaxing break in rural setting. From the front door there are a network of local bridleways and footpaths and the stunning Worcestershire countryside is easily accessible.
Coming in off the road through the wooden gates there is a tarmac carparking area for 2/3 cars, and this leads unfenced to the lawn and patio. Totally enclosed ensures dogs and children are safe and this is a private area. Beyond the garden you can see into the fields where sheep, geese, hens and horses may be grazing.
The other side of the property leads out into the owners yard/house. The owners are happy to get to know you and show you around if you wish but equally will respect your privacy. There is always something going on here, either with animals, engines or wood turning. We also have a Shepherds Hut where extra guests might like to stay.
Throughout the downstairs there is oak flooring with underfloor heating. Good sized windows, patio doors and two stable doors off the hallway gives plenty of light. From the hallway you access the sitting room and the kitchen and downstairs loo. The kitchen has a table with seating for 6 persons and is suitably equipped to cater for those wishing to eat in and entertain friends or family. The dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer helps to make your stay a little easier to give you more time to relax.
The sitting room has two comfy sofas plus a double futon. TV, games console, music centre, selection of books, toys and puzzles will keep you entertained. Variable lighting changes the mood to a more relaxed environment. The double patio doors lead out into the garden. Great for extending the space on sunny days.
