The kitchen itself is fully equipped and ready for the chef in the party to cook up a storm. You may prefer to dine al fresco on the large terrace that overlooks the stunning enclosed garden or perhaps relax in the hot tub and plan tomorrows adventures .
When looking for a family group getaway in East Yorkshire The Beeches ticks all of the boxes
Entering the property through the electric gates brings you along the drive to the front of the house and there is plenty of parking for the families' cars. The large terrace to the front has seating and is perfect for that early morning coffee in the sunshine and the 2 acre garden has plenty of space for games, a paddling pool, or a game of table tennis.
Off the kitchen is another spacious terrace with lots of social seating and outside dining for the afternoon and evening sun or a lazy afternoon BBQ. Steps from here lead down into a walled enclosed garden.
To the side of the house is the small "Enchanted Wood" where the children should enjoy spotting the fairies' houses and seeing if they can spot any fairies! Just past this is the recently created living willow dome, not fully grown yet but well on its way and there is also a slide and swings for the children.
From the door off the utility room is the 5 seater hot tub.
The long sweeping drive has ample parking for everyone and surrounds the vast lawn dominated by the two hundred year old sycamore sitting in the centre.
Passing over the wide front terrace and entering the large double oak doors takes you into the spacious hallway with the oak staircase rising to the first floor.
On the ground floor, the large, stylish dining kitchen, the hub of the house, is well equipped for big family gatherings. The dining table seats 16 and there are extra seats if your group is a little larger and there are two high chairs for the toddlers in the group. Off the kitchen is a terrace with plenty of social seating for large groups and this leads down a few steps to a secure garden.
As the evening chill comes in, you can retire to the drawing room with it’s warming log fire and 3 cosy sofas for that precious after dinner family time, whether you’re playing board games or just relaxing in front of the fire curled up to watch a film or sharing the latest news over a few drinks with friends and family.
Completing the ground floor is a further sitting room with 2 sofas, a downstairs cloakroom and a utility / boot room with washing machine and an extra fridge for keeping those all important drinks cool and just outside the utility door is a 5 person hot tub.
