The Brewhouse has recently been renovated and furnished to a very good standard and now offer relaxed accommodation for up to four people in one double with en-suite and one twin bedroom. This is tasteful, country living at its best. Children are welcome and have the space to explore and discover nature as well as enjoying our swings, sandpit, heated pool and trampoline.
The Brewhouse is one of just two delightful cottages at The Artisan Bakehouse on the edge of the beautiful South Downs in West Sussex. (there is also a luxury shepherd hut for 2 onsite too) Take some time out and relax in this wonderful country escape set in 5 acres of woodland and gardens. There is so much to see and do in this part of Sussex and If you like country retreats, the beauty of nature, all things homemade, artisan, local & seasonal, rustic yet stylish, then you will love The Artisan Bakehouse.
You can also combine your stay with learning a new skill at one of our bread making workshops, chocolate masterclasses or other events when available, as well as enjoying handmade breads during your stay.
Ample parking for up to 16 cars all set in 5 acres or grounds and woodland that surround the cottages. Beyond the hedgerow of the cottages is miles of countryside and views to the south downs national park.
The Brewhouse has a beamed living room with large ingelnook fireplace with a woodburner - perfect for cosy relaxing nights. A fully equipped kitchen dining room with AGA and dining table for 4, downstairs WC and cloakroom for boots & coats.
Views from the living room to the pretty cottage gardens and woodlands - you will be sure to spot rabbits, birds, squirrels and if you are lucky deers often pass through.
First Floor Description
Two bedrooms, one double with ensuite shower room and kingsize bed and twin with washbasin. Both have crisp white linen, fluffy white towels and you will find a welcome handmade truffle or cookie to welcome you on your bed!
Country views from all the bedroom windows, the pretty cottage gardens and woodland and then the adjoining distant fields from time to time have cows & sheep to enjoy .
Window Views Description
Country views from all windows and plenty of wildlife to spot - rabbits, many birds, deer are common sitings. The fields beyond the hedge often cattle or sheep graze and views reach towards to the beautiful South Downs and Chanctonbury ring.
