The Carthouse is one of just six delightful holiday cottages available from Trevalgan Farm Holidays. Located on a working farm on just momets from St Ives, Cornwall. The cottages are perfect for family holidays and special breaks, priced for 2 people if you fancy a property with more than one bedroom for two people. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and right on the South West Coast Path this part of Cornwall is a haven for walkers and nature lovers alike. Most of the holiday lets are dog-friendly and there is an indoor Games Room with Toddler play section.

Outside Description
With guaranteed parking just outside, as well as a large garden - there’s plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax after a day on the beach or exploring Cornwall.
You can walk along the footpath across the fields to connect to the spectacular South West Coast Path where you can often spot seals, sea birds, and sometimes even dolphins!
We haved a guest laundry and storage room, where you can store bikes and beach kit. We also keep some surfboards, windbreaks and other beach equipment in there which you are more than welcome to borrow during your holiday, as well as outside toys for young children.
Guests also have access to our Games Room which is just a two-minute walk from the cottage. The pool table, table football and table tennis are all free to use and there is also an area for young children.
Between May and mid September, there is a regular shuttle bus service to and from St. Ives, meaning you can leave your car safely at Trevalgan and avoid the chaos of parking in town.
The quickest and easiest walk to St. Ives is across the field footpath taking around 40 minutes. It is quick and simple to join the Coastal Footpath from the field footpath and walk to St. Ives in little over an hour, or Zennor which takes approximately 2.5 hours - both stunning walks.
Being in a rural location, we strongly recommend bringing your car, especially during the winter/spring when the footpaths are often wet, and the bus service is not in operation.
Additionally, the outdoor playground is a big hit with swings, climbing equipment and a slide. Our animals in the Pet’s Corner love meeting guests – especially our two pygmy goats, (Ernie and Murphy) who love being fed vegetable scraps - banana skins are their absolute favourite!
Downstairs Description
The Carthouse is fantastic for larger families and groups of friends alike.
Once inside The Carthouse is all on one level. One bedroom is next to the bathroom, separated from the other two bedrooms by the lounge. Solid block walls keep any noise contained at one end of the property so grandparents or parents can get that valuable extra bit of sleep! It's also lovely and cosy for that cheeky quiet getaway just for the 2 of you.
