The Cob is a brilliantly designed and spacious holiday barn at Venn Farm. This large property can accommodate up to 9 guests + cot in 4 delightful bedrooms. The accommodation would suit a large family or two families looking to holiday together. The Cob has a very large, light-filled, open-plan reception room, plus a kitchen-diner equipped with all mod cons. The roomy dining table will comfortably sit 9 so the whole group can dine together. Outside The Cob has It has two private terraces and a large grassy garden for sunbathing, playing or dining al fresco.
The Cob is one of just two superb holiday barns to rent at Venn Farm. Delightfully situated in a beautifully peaceful seven-acre small holding just four miles from Bude and the stunning north Cornwall beaches the properties make the ideal base for a holiday or special break.
Both barns are adjacent to each other and connected by a gate in the garden should you want to rent both of them for larger parties.

There’s plenty of outdoor space, with a large lawned garden with soccer nets, and there are great views of the surrounding countryside from the upper storey. It suits a larger family or an extended family break and is near north Cornwall beaches and the delights of North Devon. Parking is free and on the drive outside the residence.
The epitome of a stylish family-friendly residence, this renovated barn sleeps 9 + cots and is packed with beautiful design details. Near Bude on the Cornwall/Devon border, it’s close to sandy beaches, cliffside paths and plenty of family friendly attractions. The residence was designed by award-winning architects Feildon Fowles and is contemporary, bright and conducive to a great family stay.
The decor is fun and fresh, with patterned wallpaper, bright pops of colour, a modern log burner in the lounge and underfloor heating throughout. The lounge-diner-kitchen area is very sociable, for big family/group meals.
One of the four bedrooms, a double, is downstairs, with an ensuite shower room. There is also a separate downstairs WC. There’s great provision for kids, with toys and DVDs, a treehouse in the woods to explore, chickens to pet/chase, bodyboards and surfboards to borrow and plenty of space to run about.
First Floor Description
There are three other bedrooms upstairs - they include a kids room with modern bunkbed and trundle bed (sleeping a total of 3). The two additional upstairs bedrooms are a double room and a double/twin, arranged as requested. There’s a large family bathroom with bath and toiletries provided A cot can also be provided with mattress; high chairs are also provided
