The Conker Barn is one of six luxury dog friendly cottages and lakeside lodges each with it’s own hot tub and secure garden. Situated near the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds and less than 5 miles from the coast with it's amazing and vast blue flag beaches. Each has been beautifully designed to offer guests a luxurious stay, in the tranquil Lincolnshire countryside.
Guests also have the use of the well-stocked fishing lake. Lots of lovely towns and eateries nearby with the village pub being within walking distance. excellent golf courses in the area
Set over two levels and crammed with luxurious touches, this light and airy cottage boasts original oak beams and exposed brick work. A galleried King size bedroom, and luxurious en-suite bathroom, with freestanding roll top bath. On the ground floor and further twin bedded bedroom and bathroom with large easy access walk in shower, makes this cottage perfect for families or couples.
French doors which lead out on to an enclosed, private patio. Here you’ll find your own hot tub, garden furniture and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining. The patio then leads further into a secure south-facing garden with a minimum 5ft solid fence.
This property can accommodate 4 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. We welcome up to 3 dogs depending on their size and the number of people in the party.

Outside Description
The Conker Barn has a spacious garden with minimum 5ft solid fence, this is attached to the patio area with private hot tub with louvered canopy, garden furniture for alresco dining and a BBQ.
The utility room is shared between both cottages and has a freezer with ice, an SOS box with a few items you may have forgotten. There is also a large cupboard with games, books, dvd's and lots of doggy extras including, bowls, towels, shampoo and field toys. When the hens are laying you will find fresh eggs in here along with lots of literature for the local area. Outside the utility room there is a warm water hose, where guests can wash their dogs off after one of the fabulous beach or Lincolnshire Wolds walks.
Car parking is directly outside the property in the yard and just 100 meters from here you will find a beautiful, well stocked Fishing lake. This is available for staying guests. Please note there is an age limit due to the deep water aspect, please see the information on the website. Although both cottages are next to each other they feel completely private and are separated by a 6 ft solid fence.
The site is very peaceful with an abundance of wildlife including muntjac deer, hares, badgers and our beautiful pair of resident barn owls. The village pub serving casket ales is within walking distance.
Downstairs Description
The Conker Barn, named after the two wonderful nearby chestnut trees has been lovingly converted from the old cow barn and oozes bags of character. With original oak beams and open brickwork, you can't help but love it's history. The entrance to this property is beyond the shared utility room where the second door leads into the south facing garden and then into the patio area, with private covered hot tub and BBQ. From here you can access the barns open plan living/kitchen area through either of the beautiful timber recessed patio doors. Quality furnishings include two sofas and a dining table with chairs, along with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large smart TV, dvd player and Echo Dot. A further two rooms on the ground floor are the bathroom with easy access walk in shower and a twin bedroom.
The accommodation has high quality linen, towels and toiletries provided. Guests will receive a welcome hamper with wine, Lincolnshire plum bread, hand cut crisps and dog treats for any canine visitors.
First Floor Description
Take the solid ash staircase up to the galleried bedroom, with kingsize bed, dressing table and small TV. From here you will find the beautiful En-suite bathroom with roll top bath. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe, drawer/cupboard space.
Window Views Description
The large glass doors at the back of The Conker Barn looks out onto the patio area, hot tub and garden. Beyond this a paddock and other fields.
On the entrance side of the property the windows look out into the old farm yard where guests can park their cars and some well maintained buildings.

Despite its name, The Pinewoods is a beautiful broadleaf woodland which lies at the heart of the Edwardian resort village of Woodhall Spa, once the wartime home of the RAF’s ‘Dam Busters’ squadron. It’s brimming with wildlife and is probably the only wood where you can enjoy a retro movie experience at the on-site historic cinema.

A lovely little town holdings market days on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays. There are lots of little unusual shops and some nice places to eat. Including the tapas bar and the Grey house puplic house. Hubbards hills is beautiful with a stream running through the park. A lovely place to take children as they can go paddling and take fishing nets. The dogs love it here too, as there are plenty of lovely walks.
