The Gallery is one of just two delightful cottages at King Johns Barn. The cottage oozes character and charm and has been furnished to a very high standard as the 4 Star Gold Award would suggest. Exposed beams and some antique furniture are matched perfectly with stylish modern fittings of today. Glorious countryside views are another big plus when staying at The Gallery.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a light and airy living/dining area and ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Stairs lead to first floor bedroom (twin/zip link double), again with lots of exposed timbers and a further bathroom.
Outside you can relax in a secluded private sitting area with solid wooden garden furniture, parasol and barbecue to enjoy al fresco dining or make plans for the next day’s exploration
Each property has a sofa bed for extra guests and travel cots and high chairs are available for little visitors. Large dining tables in each cottage allow groups of up to 10 to dine together in comfort.
The cottages are delightfully situated close to Burford in the Cotswolds. Stylish, luxury accommodation that is both child and dog friendly. If you are looking to explore the Cotswolds and beyond this is the perfect location as it is within easy reach of Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Cheltenham, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the Wold, Cirencester and Bibury. Sleeping from 2 to 10 guests the cottages are ideal for a holiday or break at any time of year.
The light kitchen leads to the galleried sitting/dining area with views from the large glazed window/doors which lead to the gravelled area with far reaching views across the fields and beyond. Two steps lead down to the double bedroom with en-suite shower room and the stairs lead up to the first floor.
