The Old Barn is set in the grounds of Dove House, a beautiful example of a 14th century Suffolk Hall house which has been a working farm for centuries. The barn is set in the rolling countryside of the Brett Valley with beautiful views across the pasture and fields. The Old Barn was the original 19th century threshing barn and now provides a rustic farm house which is a lovely base for you to explore Suffolk from.
Along with the well-equipped kitchen, there is a large double height hallway with a gallery on the upper floor and a large sitting room with a wood burning stove. The space is filled with light and you can step out of the door at the back of the hallway and into the pool area to enjoy a swim. Upstairs are four lovely bedrooms, a family bathroom and a Jack and Jill shower room, accessed by bedrooms two and three. On the galleried landing is a further sitting area, which is a wonderful place to sit and relax in with stunning views across the fields and lots of natural light.
Outside you have a private patio area with garden furniture whilst also having use of the shared swimming pool during the summer months. This is a lovely peaceful place to stay and enjoy some time to relax and unwind.
