Nestled on the hillside overlooking Bude, Brambles, is a stylish and beautiful holiday cottage with panoramic sea views. A true English country cottage with a cosy and homely feel. Look forward to summer days exploring the coast path and wild swimming at secluded beaches you find along the way. In winter, curl up beside the fireplace with a good novel and watch the weather roll in across the Atlantic. This home is perfect for romantic getaways beside the sea for two or family holidays that will be treasured forever.
Tucked away in the pretty village of Poughill, just one mile outside the popular seaside town of Bude, Brambles is surrounded by rolling countryside and within easy walking distance to country pubs. On the ground floor is a large kitchen diner that leads onto the beautiful garden with patio and outdoor dining table. When the weather is warm, spark up the BBQ and enjoy dinner in the fresh salty sea air, if you're lucky, you'll catch one of the spectacular sunsets the north coast is renowned for.
The property has 2 large double bedrooms with sumptuously soft king size beds (one is ensuite) as well as one twin room and one single room that share a spacious family bathroom. It also benefits from all the facilities at nearby Wooda Farm Holiday Park which all guests can use, these include a tennis court, fishing lake, pitch n putt course, play area, woodland walk and a cosy country restaurant*.
Cornwall is a wonderful place to visit throughout the year, each season offers something slightly different, choose between the crisp sky blue days of winter, the rich colours of autumn, the wildflower adorned cliffs of spring or the sunsets of summer. Whatever, the season, the beautiful natural environment usually pulls guests outside to enjoy the beauty which can often lead to muddy boots, sandy toes and wet swimwear, thankfully this cottage has been designed for coastal living and has a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer!
This is a wonderful base from which to explore everything Cornwall has to offer, surrounded by sandy beaches with rockpools and rivers, it is hard to choose which to visit first!
