The Old Shippon is one of just three beautiful holiday cottages at Sambrook Manor holiday cottages. This former farm building has to restored to a very high standard and now offers guest quality accommodation in a superb location.
Perfect for two families the cottages with two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side of the holiday cottage and two bedrooms and a shower room are on the other side. There is a fully equipped kitchen and the living area is stylish yet cosy. Outside as well as fabulous rural views there is private own patio area with garden furniture and also a bbq so the chef in the party can cook up a storm.

The cottage situated in the quintessential English village of Sambrook is delightful and has a good pub serving local food and is within walking distance. Located on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border is in a prime location to explore both counties.
There is ample off road parking for The Old Shippon right outside of the cottage. The double doors in the living room lead to a large patio area and large grassed area which is fully enclosed, table, chairs and sun umbrella and a box with seat pads and outside toys and a charcoal BBQ are there for your enjoyment. This garden joins the fields which often contain sheep and has excellent views.
As you open the door to The Old Shippon a large kitchen/diner with vaulted ceiling and original exposed beams welcomes you, Fully fitted units on two sides with a 50/50 fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric cooker and hob and a microwave. Ample spare cupboard space to put all your things as well as well stocked cupboards with matching crockery and glasses, pots and pans etc. There is also a large wooden farmhouse table and chairs in the kitchen ideal for family & friends to gather round. The is a short corridor at either side of the kitchen which each side has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, at one end is a bathroom with WC, sink, bath with shower over and the other end has a shower room with WC, sink unit and a large shower. This cottage is ideal for two families staying together as each family can have their own side of bedrooms and bathrooms and then come together in the kitchen and living room areas. Three steps lead you from the kitchen into a large living room area which has two large leather settees and a variety of other easy chairs. There is a smart TV, DVD player, a Wii console and a variety of board games, books, toys and jigsaws to keep everyone entertained. A set of sitars from the living room lead to the upstairs mezzanine area and double doors lead out onto the garden and patio.
First Floor Description
The stairs from the living room lead to a mezzanine area which is just above the living room and has a sofa bed, easy chairs, table and sideboard, a long window at one end with great views makes this area a great place to relax with a pair of binoculars and see what you can spot
Window Views Description
Most of the windows in The Old Shippon look out onto the open countryside with streams, a river and rolling hills, there are also many trees and an old water mill which can be seen from the cottage. Two of the bedrooms look out onto the courtyard.
