Perfect for Families and Group Accommodation
Our cottages each sleep between six and eight people. This makes them ideal for families or groups of adults. In Minehead, Pilgrim Corner, The Old Sweet Shop and Stone Barn are next-door neighbours, and are perfect destinations for even larger groups of adults, as well as special life anniversaries and celebrations.

Outside Description
Outside there are steps up to the hot tub which comfortably seats six (please bring your own beach towels for use in the hot tub. An on-site demonstration is provided to all guests before venturing in for a dip). There are two patios/terraces with seating, and a lawned area surrounded by cottage garden planting in generous borders. Sit in the summer house with a coffee to watch the birds hop across the lawn, or admire the thatched roof, or just listen to the sounds of Exmoor. This is the Old Town, the quietest and prettiest part of Minehead, so it's peaceful in the garden yet you're ten minutes from the beach (downhill) and town. On the large cobbled driveway you'll find parking for two cars.
Downstairs Description
From the front door, where you'll find plenty of hanging space for coats and racks for shoes, enter the front room on your left for comfortable sofas and pretty window seats. There's a large flat screen smart TV with Sky and Netflix and blu-ray player to keep you entertained. The spacious kitchen/diner has high-spec appliances and plenty of work and storage space. The dining area seats eight plus babies on a beautiful farmhouse table. There are two bedrooms downstairs: 'Refresher' a king en-suite with four poster bed and large shower, and 'Strawberry Sherbet', a pretty double. This room was the original shop and has a shower room accessed through the utility room. Here you'll also find the washing machine, tumble drier and extra fridge/freezer. A wide winding staircase takes you up to the first floor.
First Floor Description
Here you'll find two further beautifully furnished bedrooms. 'Lemon Drop' is our twin, with en-suite shower room and WC (macerator/Sanilav loo). Next door is the large 'Marshmallow' a king with an en-suite featuring a lovely roll top bath. There's no shower in this room, but you can rinse your hair with the shower hose on the bathroom. There's antique furniture, high-quality Hypnos mattresses and furnishings, luxurious bedding and bath towels. And you'll have guessed that the bedrooms are named after our favourite childhood sweets!
Window Views Description
Sit at the window seats in our cosy front room to watch the locals and ramblers alike walk down Vicarage Road into town. As well as walkers there's the occasional horse and rider too on this quiet road. Admire the views out to Exmoor. From the kitchen, enjoy a view into the garden which changes throughout the year.
