Ideal for group or family holidays in Scotland Shelter Stone is a traditional stone-built house centrally located in the town of Aviemore. A comfortable, self-catering holiday home with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and well-appointed, spacious living areas. The house is just a few minutes walk from shops and eateries, and ideally located for Cairngorm Mountain, golf courses and great walking country.
Built in 1906 and formerly the local Doctor's residence, this delightful holiday home offers warm, comfortable accommodation for up to 13 guests.
Spending your holiday at The Shelter Stone puts the Cairngorms National Park on your doorstep. Activities available nearby include hill walking, mountain biking, pony trekking, sailing & fishing as well as skiing in the winter months. There are several places locally where all the equipment you might need to can be hired, including bikes, canoes and skis.
To the rear of the house is a private garden with picnic benches and a bbq - perfect for those sunny days. and you'll find plenty of parking to the front of the property.
On the ground floor is our spacious living room, large dining room, well equipped kitchen and utility. Also on the ground floor is the family bedroom, (double & single beds) with walk-in shower en-suite.

Upstairs are three double bedrooms (one en-suite) and two twin bedrooms (one en-suite). There is a large family bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate WC.
