Although the location is quiet and relaxing The Shippon is only a short drive from Windermere in one direction is less and Kendal 10 in the other.
The cottage is stylish throughout and has been designed for your comfort but is also unique from the other dwellings at Mirefoot. The Shippon has a fully equipped bespoke kitchen. Techy lovers will adore the music control pads and Bluetooth technology and the fast broadband, integral sound systems and widescreen TVs. Cosy at cooler times the property has a contemporary gas fire, and a private patio with BBQ area.
Sleeps 2: One bedroom with en-suite bathroom
The Shippon has been transformed into a sleek, modern living space whilst recalling its history in the original oak ceiling beams. The kitchen/dining area is open plan with floor to ceiling glass doors opening onto the terrace. The living area is on a raised mezzanine level with a contemporary gas fire, and flat screen TV. The bedroom has a King sized bed with wall-mounted TV. The en suite bathroom has a shower and 2-person bath with TV – so you can enjoy your latest box set whilst in the bath!
