Town Farm is a seventeenth-century Grade II listed farmhouse of architectural note, perfect for that special getaway with family or friends. Period and modern features sit comfortably side by side after a recent renovation, now with all four luxurious bedrooms enjoying en-suite bathrooms and bath tubs. A fabulous jacuzzi copper bateau bath sits proudly in the huge loft suite.
The ‘Cook’s Kitchen’ is superbly equipped, and there’s a games room with snooker table and full Sky TV for adult’s playtime. For the children there’s a playroom tucked away in the basement with dressing up box and plenty of toys.
The house sleeps nine including the single room in the main bedroom suites, with an extra three bed spaces if required. The owners accept up to three well-behaved dogs.
Situated on the border of England and Wales, Town Farm enjoys magnificent views of the lush hills beyond and is close to the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. A walkers, hikers and cyclists heaven, this part of Wales is also home to ancient castles, old fashioned market towns and spectacular river valleys to explore for summer wild swimming. The chef in the super little village pub trained in Lyon, so there’s not far to go for a delicious lunch or dinner should you wish to stay more local.
