Enjoy a special spring break once government restrictions allow and spend four nights at Waterside for the price of three.
If you are looking to escape to the most idyllic locations in the UK then Waterside Cottage has everything. Beautifully situated as its name suggest on the Waterside this lovely cottage makes the perfect self catering holiday cottage for up to 8 guests. The property is detached and was once a former crofting cottage and dates from 1857. Lovingly furnished with a mixture of contemporary furniture and antiques, Waterside is a home from home, and is a perfect location to enjoy time with friends and family.
The cottage is a great place for families and we welcome children. A high chair, booster seat and travel cot are all available on request.
We charge a small additional fee for up to two well-behaved dogs, but as some of our guests do have allergies, dogs must stay in the downstairs living areas only.

Outside the pretty garden is full of colour and has direct access to the shore. Enjoy a meal or drink sitting at the water's edge or watch the teeming birdlife when the tide goes out. Watch curlews, sandpipers, oystercatchers, ducks, geese, redshanks and a host of migratory visitors. Look out for deer or otters, especially at dusk and dawn. The views from the garden are spectacular and look out to the islands of Raasay, Longay and Pabay over to the hills of Applecross.
You can take a walk onto the shore to explore the nearby island, or head to the sands revealed at low tide for a quick dip or for a games on the beach. Please note the garden is not enclosed and dog owners please be mindful of nesting birds on the island from April to September.
There is on site parking for two cars.
Downstairs the cosy lounge diner has a wood burning stove, a piano for anyone musically minded, TV with FreeSat and bluetooth stereo and plenty books and DVDs to choose from. The windows look out to the majestic Beinn na Caillach overlooking Broadford village. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, double oven and microwave combo oven and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The sun room is an great space for morning coffee or for kids to play and you'll also find wellies and fishing nets to borrow for explorations onto the shore. The downstairs bedroom looks out over the garden to the sea and has a double bed with ensuite shower room.
First Floor Description
Upstairs the stairs split in two with a double bedroom and bathroom (with bath) to one side and on the other side, a twin room and a king-size room with a shower room in-between. Both these rooms have partial sea views.
Window Views Description
As a traditional crofting house Waterside Cottage is built gable end on to the incoming weather fronts so it sits perpendicular to the water's edge. There are great views of the mountain Beinn na Caillach from the kitchen and living areas and views of the sea and mountains, either full or partial from the downstairs bedroom and front facing windows.
