This is a 2-bedroom, cosy, country retreat situated in the grounds of West Close Farmhouse. West Close Cottage is a comfortable single-storey split-level stone cottage that can accommodate up to 4 guests and enjoy panoramic views over Coverdale and the North Yorkshire Moors.
Oozing with charm and character the cottage has floor to ceiling stone fireplace, wooden beams and galleried landing and is decorated to a high standard.. There is a fully-equipped kitchen-diner and comfortable lounge. There is also a wood burner for those cooler evenings and a conservatory to relax and take in the breath-taking views.
Outside there is a large secure floodlit parking area to one side of the cottage with its own patio area, bbq with garden furniture.
The property is entered through a bright and airy conservatory with table and chairs to enjoy the glorious views. This leads into the striking beamed living room with stone fireplace and log burning stove and a galleried landing above. On this level are 2 cosy bedrooms, one double and one twin, each with its own charm. There is also a newly fitted white bathroom with bath and thermostatic shower. Down 4 steps from the sitting room is a well-equipped fully-fitted modern kitchen with dining table and views over Coverdale and out to the North Yorkshire Moors.
